Company Overview

Timely Engineering Soil Tests (T.E.S.T.) is a professional engineering firm performing routine and sophisticated (including non-standard in-house developed) laboratory soil tests. T.E.S.T. is a certified Small Disadvantaged/Minority Business Enterprise (SDBE/MBE/8a). T.E.S.T.’s primary business includes laboratory geotechnical testing for clean and environmentally-contaminated soils, concrete/aggregate testing, and treatability/soil stabilization studies. Founded by a veteran in the civil engineering field with over a twenty-five year domestic and international experience, Lev Buchko, P.E., serves as T.E.S.T.'s president and technical director. T.E.S.T. is located in the Atlanta area, conveniently situated near the major interstates of I-285 and Hwy 78.

The laboratory is comprised of state-of-the-art testing facility with an in-house machine shop, unique to a laboratory, with capability to fabricate parts and instrumentation for standard and project-specific testing needs. The tests, following rigid quality procedures with fast turn-around that comply with AASHTO, ASTM (click here to see T.E.S.T.'s page in ASTM's International Directory of Testing Laboratories), EPA, United States Army Corps of Engineers, and NQA-1 quality requirements, are performed by a Professional Engineer or by technicians under his direct supervision. Laboratory technicians (some of whom are NICET certified) are intensively and continually trained on testing procedures and methods.  The technical director of T.E.S.T., Lev Buchko, is a voting member of 7 ASTM sub-committees on soil and rocks.  The technical director is a member of a task force that develops new ASTM methods and a professional engineer in the states of GA and SC. He is also a registered soil classifier with the state of Georgia.
